Romney plans posh weekend donor retreat featuring Rove and VP hopefuls

By , Published: June 20

Fresh off the best fundraising stretch of his presidential campaign, Mitt Romneyplans to spend this weekend strategizing and fraternizing with his biggest bundlers at a posh resort in Park City, Utah. The presumptive Republican nominee and his senior advisers and aides are hosting two days of policy sessions and campaign strategy discussions at the Deer Valley resort for more than 100 top fundraisers and their spouses. Those who raised more than $100,000 are expected to attend.

More than a dozen Republican heavy-hitters are scheduled to join the private retreat as special guests. According to a fundraiser who is attending, they include some GOP stars thought to be in contention to be Romney’s vice presidential running mate: Rep. Paul Ryan (Wis.), Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Sen. John Thune (S.D.).

George W. Bush strategist Karl Rove, who helps run American Crossroads, the well-funded GOP super PAC, is planning to speak at the retreat, said the fundraiser, who was not authorized to publicly discuss the event and spoke on the condition of anonymity. Rove’s appearance could raise questions because of laws barring any coordination between super PACs and campaigns.

Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), the party’s 2008 presidential nominee, also is scheduled to attend, according to the fundraiser.

Other expected guests include former secretaries of state Condoleezza Rice and James A. Baker III, former Florida governor Jeb Bush, strategist Mary Matalin, and commentators Bill Kristol and Fred Barnes.

Any of you poor Tea Party boobs who still thinks your vote is going to count for anything other than a chip in the final showdown, a thin shet of veneer on a facade made of rotten pulp…you’re beyond feeling sorry for.  Once mittens and that bunch above GETS that vote counted, you’re back to being a nothing, just like the rest of us.

With those new voting machines that can flip your party and your choices with a few basic keystrokes, all they need from you is the initial input.  Your vote will be for what or whom  THEY want it to be when the counting’s all done and it would take an act of God or the sorriest Supreme Court in the history of man to set it right (with Jeb Bush involved yet) .  And YOU Mr. Highfalutin Teabagger will rank right down here with the elderly,  the sick and the young the unemployed… the ones that you all fought so hard to marginalize>  You’re a nothing once Mitt has your vote.  A naught.  You will  have exactly zero influence on anything that matters.

I suppose that’s going to take a while to soak into those numb skulls of yours but eventually you’ll realize it.  In the meantime, the rest of us will have been busting our asses trying to prevent or reverse the Fascist takeover and when we win… and history shows we always win eventually… I’m not so damned sure I’d want the group that did everything it could to bring open Fascism to America as part of any world that will exist after we cast it out again.  Maybe a little reservation on some island where you can all sit and fling your feces at each other while the rest of us get on with trying to rebuild what you helped to destroy but I’d really hate to see you sitting on your asses and throwing poop in any world MY descendants are going to live in like you do today.

Now trot on back to you big screens and pop an other top… wouldn’t want you to miss the starting lap of the Daytona Teabag 500 or whatever.

Look at Romney: His job at Bain was to make money and grow firm. PERIOD. He accomplished these things. The Obama campain is like a puppy nipping at his heels which is bullshit. He took on a loser the Olympics and experienced success. He now wants to fix economy. No one has this kind of record. Obama wants to nip at his heels.
Obama is a clusterfuck. Obama care has over 2500 pages and is a incomplete . This bill is a stupid example of a man that can’t even present a complete bill. Where is tort reform? Why are Doctors leaving private practice? Where is national medical plans that will will reduce cost. The is one of the poorest excuses I ever seen.
Petroleum is the key to a state with 3% unemployment. Obama won’t release federal land for exploration, WHY NOT No jobs. What about pipeline? NO JOBS
Romney has a excellent record of performance. Obama a record of FAILURE These are the choices.

Not sure what that rather incoherent and barely readable rant had to do with the original subject of the thread but I suspect it’s just your usual stump speech that you run around spamming all the “lefty” blogs with or at best an ad for Romney that you flit around posting anywhere you can find space someone else is providing. I seriously considered not approving it but then decided I might as well leave it here for a while. We all need to see examples of willful ignorance and pride in boot licking for the one percent now and then just so we don’t forget what we’re up against. Have a nice day.
